According to The Current, a news outlet in Pakistan, Muhammad Arif appeared in a 2002 music video for renowned Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq's song, 'Preeto'. He also worked as an architect in Pakistan from 2002 to 2016, as per his Linkedin profile. On Monday, Muhammad Arif, 45, raised security concerns on a Malaysia Airlines flight from Sydney to Kuala Lumpur after he claimed that he had "explosives" in his bag.
