WAOW and the UN promote “Stop Violence Against Women”

Divya Delhi: WAOW's fourth International Annual Summit on Inclusive Diversity and Women's Role in Leadership at the Radisson Hotel in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, was a success. Over 150 eminent women and men from India and outside attended the conference.The International Chief Guest, Ms. Kristine Engvig, Founder of WIN Women International and WIN Conference, and President of Global Citizen Forum, spoke on “Why Women Why Now” during the keynote presentation. Esteemed Guest of Honor and speaker Ms. Anupama Kulshrestha (IPS), ADG Agra Zone, joined. The summit featured a panel discussion on the role of women leaders in making the world more inclusive, moderated by Mamta Godiyal. The second thought-provoking panel was “Are You A Victim Or A Warrior!” Ms Sanjhna Nayyar, Ms Gayatri Chadwa, Ms Anju Handa, Ms Neha Khandekar, Ms Razia Khan, Ms Rajni Jain, and Ms Nahida Ismail shared their life experiences, and Sheroes Hangout Cafe Acid Attack survivors shared their stories, moving audiences. During the summit, a Global WAOW jury selected over 50 distinguished and significant warriors from 1100+ nominations to receive the WAOW Warrior Awards. Padma Shri Smt Pratibha Prahlad Ji, who received a Lifetime Warrior Award, Ms. Lakshita Bhargawa, Ms. Deepti Gupta, Ms. Usha Rani, Dr. Prof. Ayesha Farooq, Ms Chatori Rajni, Ms Pravesh Sharma, Ms Alina Zaidi, Ms Neha, Ms Ankkhie, Mr Sandeep Jain, Ms Ayeta Annie (Tanzania), Ms Zuhura Sengeen, and Nescafé, a valued sponsor, supported the event and connected their Nestle Professional Franchisee Model with our warrior's goals, making it a success.
