Since April 2022, the organization has "moved heaven and earth" to procure millions of rounds of ammunition, rocket systems, armoured vehicles, and even aircraft to assist Ukraine in repelling Russia's invasion.Officials from the United States stated that the aid package would be funded by the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which finances longer-term contracts with the defense industry; therefore, the delivery of the armaments could take months or even years.
