PM Modi will launch 16 airport projects, including 12 new terminals, in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.In Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch and lay the foundation stones for 16 airport developments, including 12 new terminal buildings. Over ₹42,000 crore project would be inaugurated, according to Union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Projects include virtual inaugurations and foundation stone laying for 16 airports nationwide, totaling about ₹9,800 crore. Pune, Kolhapur, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Delhi, Lucknow, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, Moradabad, Shravasti, and Adampur airports will get new terminal structures. PM Modi will also unveil a Raj Mata Vijayraje Scindia statue and virtually launch the Gwalior airfield terminal. Scindia observed that this is the first day in 75 years to open or lay foundation stones for 16 airports.In a public program, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹42,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh at midday. He will video conference to Varanasi to distribute the first Mahatari Vandana Yojana instalment in Chhattisgarh at 2:15 PM.Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted rallies in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and West Bengal on Saturday in a frenzied campaign ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.He prayed at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and did a late-night roadshow in Varanasi.
