Allegations of 'harassment' over the birth of his second child, the father of Sidhu Moose Wala, IAS Ajoy Sharma, Principal Health Secretary, was sent a show-cause notice by the Punjab government. The state administration has questioned why the Chief Minister and the Health Minister were not notified of the situation prior to an investigation. The age limit for In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) conception was brought up by the authorities last week after the late musician Sidhu Moose Wala's parents welcomed their second son. The singer's father, Balkaur Singh, stated that district authorities had "harassed" him in an attempt to obtain information on the child. The parents welcomed a kid last Saturday, almost two years after their singer-son was murdered and killed. IVF was used to conceive the child by Charan Kaur, 58. "However, you proceeded to act in the matter without bringing this issue to the notice of your Minister-in-charge and Hon'ble Chief Minister and without taking any orders from them," the government stated in a notification. "This is a grave error on your behalf. Therefore, you are requested to provide a justification for why actions under the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969 should not be taken against you in a two-week period of time, according to the notification. Balkaur Singh begged the authorities to stop the treatment in a video that was released on Instagram. "The district is requesting that I provide them the child's records. I ask that the Chief Minister and the administration permit the treatment to conclude. I'll be there anytime it's requested. I promise to provide all necessary legal documentation," Singh said. Sidhu Moose Wala's mother, Charan Kaur, had IVF therapy; this week, the Punjab government was asked to provide a report by the Union Health Ministry. It was noted that the age range for IVF was 21 to 50 years old. "Under Section 21(g)(i) of the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021, the age limit prescribed for a woman going under ART Services is between 21-50 years," the letter continued. In addition, last week Balkaur Singh announced the birth of his second child on Instagram and shared a picture of himself, saying that everyone in the family was doing well. His elder son, singer-turned-politician Sidhu Moose Wala, was shot and killed in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29, 2022.
