The Maharashtra cabinet approved charging cars 250 for a single travel on India's largest sea bridge, the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL). This bridge will connect Sewri in Mumbai to Nhava Sheva in Raigad district, cutting the commute from two hours to 15-20 minutes. According to Indian Express, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) initially charged ₹500 each journey, but the Urban Development Department (UDD) reduced it to ₹350 per car. After much debate, the state cabinet set the fee at ₹250 per journey.
