Krystyna Pyszkova of Czech Republic wins Miss World 2024, says it was ‘something I was working on for so long’

Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic won Miss World 71. Krystyna thanked her supporters and said her victory had been a long time coming. "I'm overjoyed to share my feelings here today. I've worked hard for my dream "she told the journalists. Krystyna stressed that her purpose project is a lifelong endeavor and that she believes the Miss World platform would help her raise awareness and help many impoverished youngsters. In a ceremony attended by showbiz luminaries like Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Mukesh Ambani, Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui, and actress Rubina Dilaik, Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska from Poland gave Krystyna the crown.Krystyna won defeating over 110 nations, with Lebanon's Yasmina Zaytoun finishing second. Krystyna, a law student at Charles University in Prague, volunteers at the Sonta Foundation in Tanzania to teach disadvantaged children English. After nine years at an art academy, her music preferences are clear. After Krystyna's triumph, Miss World's Instagram account posted a photo inviting her to the family and congratulating her.The pageant was held at BKC's Jio World Convention Centre with prominent judges. Film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, actors Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, news personality Rajat Sharma, social worker Amruta Fadnavis, Vineet Jain, MD of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Limited, Julia Morley, Miss World Organization Chairperson and CEO, Jamil Saidi, Strategic Partner & Host - Miss World India, and three former Miss Worlds, including India's Manushi ChhillarKaran Johar and former Miss World Megan Young hosted the event, which featured spectacular performances by Shaan, Tony Kakkar, and Neha Kakkar.
