The most recent episode of Koffee With Karan 8 featured much more than simply freshly made coffee cups. The originals, Zeenat Aman and Neetu Kapoor, spoke in-depth about their love of movies, their families, and their cinematic journeys. In 2020, Neetu Kapoor lost her spouse Rishi Kapoor. She thought back on him. Neetu Kapoor reminisced about the day Rishi Kapoor received cancer treatment in New York. It was only then, she disclosed, that he confided in his family. "So, Karan, I prefer not to think back on the depressing moments. I like to think back on the positive aspects of our relationship and our time spent in New York. Although we had the finest year ever—I had the best year of my life—New York was incredibly depressing." Neetu Kapoor remarked  Neetu Kapoor further stated that Rishi Kapoor "was never a friend" to his children, Ranbir and Riddhima, and that he only got back in touch with them much later in life. "Because you are aware of how loving Chintu Ji (Rishi Kapoor) is. There was so much love in him. However, there was one thing he never truly expressed his affection for. Instead of showing affection, he would always bully others and maintain his distance. He was like a big thing, especially with me and my kids. Respect and everything, and as a result, he missed out on a lot of time with his kids. He never showed them any friendship," Neetu Kapoor remarked."But that year, he opened up," Neetu Kapoor remarked, referring to the time spent in New York. He was quite beautiful and approached me with love. We had an amazing time. Neetu Kapoor and Rishi first got together on the shoot of the 1974 movie Zehreela Insaan. In 1980, they tied the knot. In addition to numerous other movies, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor co-starred in Khel Khel Mein, Rafoo Chakkar, Kabhie Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, Duniya Meri Jeb Mein, and Zinda Dil. Following their union, the actors collaborated on movies such Besharam, which featured their son Ranbir Kapoor, Love Aaj Kal, Do Dooni Chaar, and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.  Neetu Kapoor will collaborate with Sunny Kaushal and Shraddha Srinath on a project. Milind Dhaimade is set to direct the movie. Her latest appearance was in the popular film JuggJug Jeeyo, which also starred Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor.
