Vikas Bahl's recently released supernatural horror-thriller grossed ₹53.5 crore net in three days at the Indian box office.Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala, and Anngad Raaj feature in the remake of Vash, a 2023 Gujarati film. Media reports indicate the film earned approximately ₹65 crore.Bahl, who directed Chillar Party, Queen, and Super 30, directed his first supernatural film. The film grossed ₹14.75 crore on its release day. The number rose to ₹18.75 crore  and ₹20 crore the next day. The movie has also grossed ₹8 crore in the global market, according to recent figures. Many Mumbai theaters show the film late at night. This began  when more individuals watched the eerie movie at night. Shows begin at 11:59 PM at Cinepolis Andheri, Maison Inox BKC, and MovieMax Mira Road. Thane's Cinepolis Viviana Mall has two late performances.Shaitaan has good ratings. All key performers, including debutants Janki Bodiwala and Anngad Raaj, were praised for their work.
