ICC Test Rankings: Mohammed Siraj climbs 18 spots after Lord's Test heroics, Virat Kohli retains 5th spot

India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj climbed 18 spots to the 38 on ICC Test Bowling Rankings after his heroics in the Lord's Test against England. Mohammed Siraj, who made his Test debut in December 2020, is the 8th best Indian bowler on the ICC Test bowling charts. Siraj shone in the 2nd Test against England as the Hyderabad pacer made things happen on a docile Day 5 pitch at Lord's. Siraj picked up 4 for 32 as England were bundled out for 120 in chase of 272 in the final innings of a pulsating Test at the iconic venue in London. Siraj finished with figures of 8 for 126 as he helped India dominate the England batting attack that looked fragile in the second innings of the Lord's Test. Siraj's heroics made sure India went 1-0 ahead in the 5-match series. Meanwhile, senior fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who moved to the 9th spot from the 19th spot after his 9-wicket match haul in Nottingham, fell to the 10th spot in the ICC Bowling Rankings after the Lord's Test. Bumrah was at his fiery best in London and the tail-ended chipped in with a crucial contribution with the bat in India's 2nd innings. Bumrah and Mohammed Shami added 89 runs for the 9th wicket as they batted England out of the contest on Day 5. Jasprit Bumrah - No. 10 Ishant Sharma - No. 16 Mohammed Shami - No. 19 Ravindra Jadeja - No. 21 Umesh Yadav - No. 29 Axar Patel - No. 34 Mohammed Siraj - No. 38 KL Rahul also made massive gains in the batting charts, rising up 19 spots to 37 in batting rankings.
