Ryan International School student murder case LIVE updates: HC to hear trustees’ anticipatory bail plea today
The Bombay High Court will today hear the anticipatory bail plea of Ryan International Group owners who have sought protection from arrest in connection with the murder of a seven-year-old boy on their institution’s campus in Gurgaon. They were yesterday granted interim protection from arrest for a day. Ryan International Group's founding chairman Augustine Pinto (73) and his wife Grace Pinto (62), who is the group's managing director, had on Monday approached the high court seeking anticipatory bail apprehending arrest in the case. Group's CEO Ryan Pinto also filed an anticipatory bail plea but due to some problem his application was not filed with the high court registry, his lawyer Niteen Pradhan said yesterday. His anticipatory bail application was filed in the high court later in the evening.
